Ladies white is the new black, if you think it will not look gorgeous on you then you are sadly mistaken. White is for everybody from fair to wheatish complexion. You will be amazed how white is so elegant and graceful, don’t forget to wear your pearls along to enhance it. White is easy to carry whether in the form of a Kurta that you can wear on your jeans or a long dress along with Churidar Pajama, which is our desi version of skinny jeans.

Churi Pajamas are the traditional fitted Pajamas being worn in India and Pakistan for a very long time. A point came when our new generation was completely alien to what this is and found skinny jeans very hip and in. This is the time when Churidar Pajamas came back in to fashion. They look exquisitely elegant with the kind of long Kameez’s that are in these days. I know what the next question is? Where do we get these since the tailors drive us insane? As for older women maybe it’s time to look back at your favourite movie star Audrey Hepburn and the kind of sunglasses that she used to wear.

Diamond Watches

Why do people wear diamond watch? Of course teens want to emulate their personalities, and as a result, bling jewelry, including diamond watches, was a major fashion statement. The reason is that an increasing number of designer watches are now on the market with different brands under the distinctive styles that have classic diamond watches modern twist.

There are diamond watches, and then there are diamond watches like this. Graff metaphorically knocks on the door of luxury with a resounding "bling bling!" arrival announcement. You simply don't get too much more "diamond watch" than this timepiece figuratively held hostage by the precious stones. The case and bracelet (what little of it is actually metal!) is done in 18k white gold while a dizzying collection of 176 diamonds on the case and another 94 diamonds on the bracelet that crowd the design of the watch like a bunch of too many densely packed wealthy neighbors. The entire watch has 59 carats of pure glitzy glory. Likewise the timepiece is known as the Superstar, or GraffSuperstar. Whatever the title, this watch is is certainly a statement about the woman wearing it. However that statement might be "I enjoy rubies and emeralds in my breakfast cereal." Sorry gentlemen, we will have to settle for a less diamond studded version. Stones on the Superstar watch are in trilliant and trapeze cuts that gives a very modern and angular shape that is also quite cohesive. Round cut stones make for good decor, but these more angular cuts allow for a more tiled look that enhances the "total diamond watch" style that Graff is going for. My instincts tell me that the movement inside the watch is Swiss quartz. The dial of the watch is no testament to legibility, but should be readable - a nice trapeze cut emerald is the only non-diamond stone of the bunch and serves as the 12 o'clock marker. Not the type of watch you want to wear publicly in certain parts of the world, cost to likely be tantamount to purchase of said parts of the world.

Let's Design Together: Meganthology

Megan F works with me closely. Although she is not here in DE, I consider her my interior designer. I turn to her for blog ideas, and also lots of questions about our in-progress office. This week, when I thought it would be a good idea to seek a rug for the space, I went straight to Megan.

it's ben a crazy week and i still have a  crazy week ahead of me - my store officially closes for the season today, then it's off to h'are for a speedy 2.5 day vacay, then back home to do a ton of prep work for the big trip to china.  this past week has been a lot of tying up loose ends and shockingly not very stressful.  i think i'm finally learning to leave my work at work and relax when off the clock.  well, at least a little.  i really hope that i can carry over this less-stressful mind state to the next two weeks, as i am very worried i will get overwhelmed with the pressure.  so for now, i'll just focus on the beautiful and inspiring and calming.  here are just a few ~

i'm really just drawn to this space -  i love the big window, the built-in shelving, the colors and print-mixing, and mostly the huge huge bed piled up with pillows.  my own bed may have a massive pillow mound, but it is currently broken so i am sleeping on an angle.  but this bed?  this bed is glorious.
moral of the story: i want to live here.
