lela rose resort

After posting this photo I promised a few additional photos from the lela rose resort show. It was beautiful- and so was lela herself.

Models wore the clothing while hanging out on Lela's dining room table- make sure to check out photos of the home here. And the designer took the time to greet each guest- she told me that she made all of the iced tea herself- and we chatted about it around macaroons.
She has the home, and the most talked about show- and still takes the time to prepare personal touches for her guests. Lela is my kind of gal.

Me, Lanvin & 23

I have no relations with Lanvin (wish I did!) except that I am a huge fan, I was drawn to Lanvin though Alber Elbaz's gracefully stunning "ribbon" collection a year or two ago and have build on my love for the label every season onwards.

The 2011 resort collection does not disappoing, the signiture feminine yet simple shapes + signiture jewellery works wonders, while I am also loving the vibrant colours...

There is another reason why I am blogging about Lanvin today, I have just turned 23 today and treated myself to a stunning green Amelia bag (with 30% off from the Lanvin sales!) as a birthday present. I promise to show you the bag soon! I just can't bring myself to use it before I get some leather protecting cream from Mulberry...

i absolutely adore the soft grey ruffles in this mini skirt, and by matching it with a boring, loose-fitting white tee and brown braided belt, it suddenly becomes "boho" and casual instead of in-your-face-feminine and fancy.  perfect.
