Hooked on: Vintage Linen Pillows

{Ludwigas Linen}

I have always loved all things vintage, whether it's vintage clothes, vintage typewriters or my current love vintage linen. Their simple yet elegant designs speaks to my heart, and it is also eco-chic!

{Beyond France}

How about these beauties made from old grain sacks? I just adore the design!

What do you all think my dearest readers, do these lovely pillows have a place in your home? :) Oh, I've also joined the Hooked on Friday party, check out what others are hooked on here.

Happy Friday! I will be back tomorrow for a post of the new series {Styling Luphia}, so if you get bored, you can always come and visit me in blogland? ;)

I wish I am in Paris, care to join me? Just look at the photos and imagine... xx

Vintage Friday: Cute Pillows

I love these cute vintage pillows at Hudson with their pastel colours and the white linen. Vintage Feed bags are cut and reworked to make these unique toss pillows. Don't them look so calm & cosy, perfect for sleeping off a cold!

Zen Dining

Feeling a bit stressed lately as I have a test on Thursday, as it's still term time I've only got a couple of evening to revise. Everything should be fine but you know sometimes you just can't help but to feel a little worried? Which is why this Zen Dining photo is so appealing to me right now, I would love to treat myself to dinner (boyfriend can pay for himself ;) at a gorgeous restaurant with these beautiful tables, now the only trouble is finding that restaurant...

Skin Series Bud Vase

Not only are these little vases cute but they are individually handmade so no two are the same. They look so delicate & would look great on my window sill with some pink roses to brighten up the room in the grim grey days... Available from Manos online.

Ikea trip

It may sound a bit weird to call a visit to Ikea a trip but that's what it's like for me as I LOVE Ikea & always come out with more than I planned to buy. I normally visit ikea once or twice a year, so each visit is still quite exciting. Of course I love other more unique and vintage items more, but ikea is much cheaper, fairly close & looks quite good.

Apart from getting some storage boxes, I was also on a side mission to find these gorgeous vases designed by Jongerius for ikea. "Every vase has a pattern that represents a particular part of the world, and each pattern is also assigned its own ceramic technique. " I think my fav is the white one, although I love the other three as well.

Unfortunately I didn't see these in the shop, so can't share any photos. I must have eaten too many meatballs in the restaurant before going shopping and was therefore feeling a little less sharp than usual ;)
I think the unpainted one with white dots represents Africa & maybe the white one for Asia, pink one for Europe? Do you all think?

Crazy about stripes

Normally a man with a bright stripy shirt wouldn't send my heart flying (sorry! stylish men make me feel not so stylish in comparison!), but this man does! I love Paul Smith's iconic stripes, and have only just discovered he designs a line of Fine China too! How great does the stripes look against the simple white and the luxury gold (22 carat gold)! I am saving up my pennies now!

Just out of curiosity, how many of our dear overseas readers have heard of Paul Smith? I know he's definitely an icon in Britain, up there with Vivienne Westwood I would say, not sure if this extends to the rest of the world?

Love Felt

These little egg cosy bunnies are so adorable and they're functional too, wouldn't you want to take Victoria or David home?

They are from the Berlin based design house Parkhaus where you'll find all sorts of homeware made from felt. Their things are so great I think I've got a bit of a felt fever!

Bone Inlay Furniture

I am in love with the Bone Inlay range at the UK based company Graham and Green. I first saw these beautiful furniture at Absolutely Beautiful Things, as Anna's gorgeous shop Black & Spiro is a little too far for those of us in the UK, I was so happy to find something similar in London!

Check out the rest of the range (cupboard, table, chair, stool etc.) at Graham & Green's online website.

Colourful Rugs

I love this 'Puzzle Rug' designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for The Rug Company, it's colourful, modern and fun. I am not the only fan either, Elle Decoration has put it on the 2008 Best British Design shortlist.
while I am talking about colourful rugs, here are two other of my favorites from The Rug Compnay, designed by two of the biggest British fashion icons Paul Smith and Vivienne Westwood. Both rugs represents the iconic designs of the two designers so perfectly.
